Hee hee - I haven't gotten very far with this yet!
So - what's up with all the cartoon stuff, you ask?
Well, for many many years now, I've been an avid cartoon fan. Not just any cartoon will do, though. Since I was an adolescent (I'm not specifying the age - can't be giving that kind of information away, hee hee!) I've gone through cartoon phases - I find a cartoon that really appeals to me and follow it with an almost obsessive-like dedication. Usually the phase ends with the disappearance of the cartoon. Sometimes, it ends when the cartoon undergoes a whole bunch of changes, the result being that it just doesn't feel like the cartoon I had come to adore. I'm all growed up now, but I still find myself going through these phases, and I thoroughly enjoy revisiting past phases - so I thought I'd share. Lucky you!
These pages pay homage to the cartoons that still rattle around in my brain, surfacing at random moments with references that are pretty much non-sequiturs unless you know me and my obsessions well. So browsing around here should prepare you for a conversation with me. Well, maybe not. :)
Links coming soon...
The Cartoons!

Tiny Toons - I think this is the one that started it all. I mean, I watched cartoons before this one, but never with the same dedication. Maybe I didn't get enough of a certain essential nutrient and this caused a patch of neurons in my brain to fail to develop and mature normally, resulting in this sudden appearance of obsessive behaviour. Or, maybe not.

Animaniacs - The successor to Tiny Toons, produced by the same studios, written by the same core writing staff, featuring many of the same voice actors. Not too tough to see why this one came next. |

Sailor Moon - Okay, I admit it, this one was aimed at little girls much younger than me. I stumbled upon the show after school one day while channel-surfing and somehow became instantly hooked. A big departure from the previous two, though. |

Pokemon - I didn't follow the 'normal' progression of first discovering the game, then discovering the show. I discovered the show first, through my (much) younger brother (who, incidentally, followed the normal path), and from there did later become hooked on the game. Not too far of a leap from the previous one - another cartoon aimed at a demographic that is much younger than mine. |

PowerPuff Girls - The most recent (albeit less acute at this point) obsession. I think this one shares characteristics from the others - it's super cute, and would be appropriate for younger children, yet still contains the 'older' humour that could be found in Tiny Toons and Animaniacs. |

Huh? That's it?
Okay - maybe I haven't had very many. If you look at the contents of the pages dedicated to each of these, though, you might see why - internalizing that much trivia/knowledge about something totally frivolous takes time and effort! It is, however, a great way to procrastinate. Tee hee. :)
